hmmm i cant get the game to play full screen i have to play in a window which makes gaming at 1024X768 worse than it is normally lol anybody know how to sort it?

After all the BF2142 bashing. This game actually seems buggier. Its crashing abit much for me. Gameplay seems so so. BF2142 has a clear edge over this and is much more fun.
Is it me or the game runs rubbish? I feel like i am getting slowdown with my quad and 8800.

It's really jerky with a very poor framerate for me. I'm running 1280x1024 with 'High' settings selected, on a 3Ghz Core2Duo with an 8800GTS and 2 gigs of ram.
Surely my system is enough to handle this game? Do I really need to start fiddling around lowering detail level or is this game just bugged?

Yep, must remember not to look at the map whilst driving 
Definitely a fun game, I didn't notice much lag or stutter from low fps, everything was on high apart from lighting @1280x1024.
Like all multiplayer games, your online experiences may change due to whoever else is on your server.
Went onto Bry's server for a bit, it was empty. Then another player joined, he killed me for a few mins then left
Will definately check it every now and then though if it stays up. I'll also run fraps next time and get an idea of the framerates I'm getting.

Running dual-screens? Had the same problem with terrible terrible framerates, quick search on their forums and there's some kind of bug with nVidia cards running dual-screen and this. Change settings over to single-screen and should run smoothly.

Splash Damage ruined what was supposed to be RTCW 2, they called it ET and had to give it away because they could not get it right.
This is not a good game at all, the graphics are similar to ET/quake 3 platform. Its buggy, frame rates are terrible.
Definitely leaving this one!!

Im having the same feelings...
Considering Ive only played HL for 10mins, never even opened HL2 or its mods, TF2 has got to be good to get my interest going over an id title...

Hangon, while I'm not convinced this is the game it should have been, no one can deny that the original ET was a huge success for a free title.Saying that QW has graphics similar to Q3 is just laughable.
If you're going to call a game crap at least do it for the right reasons.

Well for me...the most annoying this is the low FPS and the mouse Lag. The graphics are good....and some of the texturers and details is awasome...it just doesnt look right...or play all that great. You would think with a quad at 3.5Gz, 4Gb Ram and 8800GTX it would run super smooth. Like mentioned above...i think i wil have to lower the setting a bit to try and make it 'snappy' and 'responsive'...for me it gota have the feel of BF2, 2142 and CSS to make it as a massive online FPS...at the moment...it just doesnt have this. I have a mixed bag of felling about this...I really want it to be good...it looks godd..but it isnt hitting the spot

ET was a huge success BECAUSE it was free.
ETQW does not look that much better than ET. I played it with all the settings up and it looks very similar IMO..
Maybe it's just because I haven't played many fps games for a while, ie nothing since I stopped playing Q3A a few years ago, I've been lost in mmo land.
I just don't have any other new fps games to compare it too so I might be giving it more credit than it deserves? I am very surprised to see the few posts about poor framerates, although I do agree the mouse settings don't seem to enable a high enough sensitivity.

I echo those sentiments.
i never knocked BF2/2142 and have enjoyed both.
I warmly remeber all the people a year and a bit ago saying ETQW will walk all over 2142.
As it stands I don't think so
well thats absolute rubbish...the graphics are among the most detailed weve seen in any game to date. The texturing is second to NONE...and playing the the game abolutely maxed out....4xaa, 8xaf and supersampling...its awsome. It just runs carp...and doesnt look right...LOL!
Typing in caps doesn't make your post any more valid.
I would have paid for the original ET as I'm sure many others would. It was the game play that made it a success, not it's being free. Had it been crap no one would have played it.
You need your eyes testing if you think QW and ET look even remotely similar in terms of graphics quality.

In the word of Roy Walker: I say what I see.. I don't like what I see and I'm not impressed.
Not liking it and saying you're unimpressed is fine but comparing the graphics to it's 4 year predecessor and saying they look similar when they clearly don't is just madness.
