What colour lettering on the back of a Spurs home shirt?

JJB messed it up and gave me black lettering. Person who went and got it for me wasn't to know any better, so I've spoke to customer services and I'm now getting a whole new one.

So just double checking, it is navy blue writing I should be getting? Can't seem to find a definitive picture of the back of a player anywhere. And nobody seems to have any information generally about shirt lettering :p

Yes it's Navy/White numbers and lettering they should have used, muppets :o

Can't see the link but the Premier league only use the following official lettering.

White/Black
Black/White
Gold/White
Red/White
Navy/White
 
Yeah, that image shows a press release or such showing those 5 colours and lettering sizes and that. My nearest shop only stocks the black and white lettering it seems, but the guy I spoke to today is sorting it for me :)

I did speak to someone in customer services, is that where you are too?

I don't work in customer services *shudders* but I'm in the same building. I work on the Online Store which will be taking orders for shirt printing very soon! (Finally!)
 
While your here TripleT any idea what the situation is if JJB have printed on a number crooked?

It was somebody called Mark I dealt with. Took 3 e-mails, but he eventually sorted it :) I'm now waiting for the guy in the shop to get my my shirt :p

Is it really obvious? Take it back and see what they say for a start.
 
yeah the Spurs lettering is navy blue.

When I bought my last kit I got it from Intersport in Lincoln and the guy in the shop used the white lettering on my nice new white Spurs shirt lol. It was the last one in my size so i said I would take on condition the lettering was free and he knocked an extra tenner off. So i got my shirt with Lennon 25 printed on for £25 lol

He was probably trying to save you the embarrassment of being spotted in a Spurs kit - if the name was obscured, you might have looked like a Salisbury City or Derby County player from the rear :)
