Ninja Gaiden or Ninja Gaiden Black

I've been wanting a ' Devil May Cry ' style game to play on my newly aqquired X360, and so far the best option appears to be the Ninja Gaiden series.

Having never tried the series before, I was wondering if the original is worth playing, as copies of it are easier to come by, or should I hold out for a copy of NG Black instead ?

I'd just get black if you can as it's the original with the extra hurricane packs on it too plus some other modes and difficulties.

ninja gaiden black is the same game but with an extra weapon and, harder and easier difficulty levels which expand the game in more ways than you think. There are also the hurricane packs which are hard mini levels i think with special fights and other difficult things. But you wont miss a thing if you only buy black version

i would have though copies of NGB are easier to come by as when it was released it was only £20 new

Just checked a few auction sites and there's 19 copies of NG for around £6, whereas for NGB there's only 4 copies atm and they look like they'll go for £13+

Ninja Gaiden Black.

It has a lot more stuff added to it and the boss fights have been improved so people cant just spam the same move over and over. They also added more save points to the game in more convenient places.
