I mean it would have been just my luck to get a pocket pair like that to start, then lose on the tiniest possibility that someone has better. Maybe i would have been the guy with the Queens had the guy with the Kings stayed in. Aaaanyway the point i'm trying to make is that i suck at poker and someone always has one better somehow!

Preflop he's still 1/5 to hit trips. I'd rather be beaten like that then last night when with a pocket pair some guy with QT called my all in preflop and the flop came QTT.

When I played in Vegas the same thing happened, I got KK, another guy QQ and the guy next to me AA, we all went all-in, Aces won

I had a hand to be proud of the other week whilst playing with some friends. It was only a £2 buy in but makes the evening worthwhile.

Dealt 8 J. Flop = J 8 8. Rasies etc etc. The Turn = 8

. Cant remember what the river was, it was irrelevant, lol 4 of a kind and a pair of jacks. Needles to say it put him out of the game. Also won one hand Ace high flush against king high.

The WSOP one was mental, and the High Stakes one proves Dan Negreanu's bad luck in that game!
