Looking for some addictive games that work on a carp laptop

I dont have a 360, Wii, or PS3. I have a Gamecube that I cant be arsed to plug in, and my PC doesnt work (I think the gfx card has died).

I have a works laptop and can do with it what I please, but its pap and isnt suited in the slightest for games.

What games are there that are cool to play but dont need the slightest bit of 3d acceleration? I remember the days of my 486 sx25 playing crappy looking but hellishly addictive games - I want those games back in my life.

Search the PC games for for Command and Conquer, apparently the original version is now available as a free download.

Or joint the loonatic fringe on Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe.

GTA 1 and 2 are free to download. Or try and find a copy of Duke Nukem 3D.
