Strange text from "orange"

Was unsure whether to post this in phones or GD, thought it would get more attention here though!

I received a text today, the recipient came up as "UpgrdCentre" and the message reads as follows -

Orange customer,you may now claim your FREE CAMERA PHONE upgrade for your loyalty.Call now on 0207 153 9153.Offer ends 13th Sept. T&C's apply.Opt-out available

That's exactly how it reads, some spaces omitted between punctuation which I thought was strange.

Also, the fact that it says opt out available at the end makes me believe this is spam.

Can anyone offer any advice or solutions?

Just Google the number, there's lots about it.

Putting that phone number into google reveals it to be spam.

probably true, but if you get a new phone, they secretly sign you into a new 12month contract.

Have you googled the number to see if it's orange?

Google just gives other forum threads about it being spam.

Texts from orange usually say that the recipient is orange.

Looks like it's spam, thanks anyway
