Fifa 08 demo (360)

It looks like its going to be better on the 360.

In terms of graphics the game is looking sharp and now seems to even have better collisions between characters. I must admit though the most impressive seen was the Xbox 360’s version. The PS3 version didn’t look nearly as sharp and crisp as the Xbox 360 version and seemed to have an issue with its anti-aliasing, while still impressive with its gameplay it really looked as if it has come off second best on the PS3, actually making it hard for me to quickly notice it wasn’t the PS2 version. Hopefully this was an issue with the TV or cables, lets hope the final game corrects my first impressions. Player animations were superb and the menu system has been given a spit and polish from last year’s game ever so slightly.
 
Im actually really looking forward to it after watching the developer video's there, its interesting that they plan on having a full world cup with single players representing each player in an 11 a side game by 2010.

The last few years pro evo has really not improved that much, fortunately for them, while Fifa has started to look great, and they have made good strides, the way the ball moved and hung in the air still did not feel realistic, the video's do look like this year may be the year for fifa, but we all thought that last year too, so its a case of suck it and see.

Really? Sorry, I thought they were all the next gen ones. My bad.

What is with the entrance scenes by the way, it is the same everytime and it looks like the two captains are having a go at each other, which is stupid. In one of the developer video's you see England v Germany, with Terry and Ballack at each others throats. This really would never happen as they both play for Chelsea and are probably fairly friendly with each other. Seems stupid.

No worries, it's just the first three vids that are PS2 versions (can tell because of gameplay/graphics :))

Not sure, seems like a generic entrance... Fifa 07's entrance was just the two captains shaking hands - seems they've got to the other extreme and having them almost fighting this year :confused:

Bit odd really, as you rarely see this before a game...

Even more worrying is the Leeds shirt that guy has on....
