Spec me house beats

is it the basslines on those tracks you like then ?

try anything on dave "switch" taylors label dubsided

so anything by switch , jesse rose , herve , sinden. some of them are moving a bit away from house mind but thats the stuff with good basslines i listen to at the moment
 
Sorry for the thread hi-jack but i'm sure the OP will love it if anyone can get it but what's the name of the fairly new remix of 'Show me love', or at least it samples the lyrics 'show me love'?
 
It's not so much just the bass I like, I have plenty of tracks with loads of bass, it's the particular rhythm, it's hard to describe but they all seem to feature a 2-3 second beat pattern with a pause, then the beat pattern repeats.

Those artists are good, the kind of stuff I'm looking for, especially Jesse Rose and Switch. Any specific tracks or albums you would recommend from them?
 
yea theyre my favourite of the bunch to

dont think theyve done any albums though , there live sets are worth a listen. have seen them both DJing and both are spot on

switch just does allot of remixes and production with other people. costs allot of cash for a switch remix thats for sure , p diddy apparently paid him a **** load ,only negative is all his remixes are starting to sound the same.

might be worth checking the other labels that jesse rose is signed too

if you go to his myspace page i think theres links to all his friends who make similar stuff , some of them are a bit minimally mind
 
leeds ? id bloody love too but doubt it , never seen him yet. id of wanted to go just for erol to be honest . whole line up is spot on

movin to newcastle tomora though , him and herve are on at wax on there in novemeber i think so ill have to wait :(

SMD and vitalic next month is what im looking most forward too , especially vitalic , got his new live album promo and wow

Might have to go and see these then since I'll be at Durham Uni so quite close really. What got me into all this stuff is the outdoor arena at Tiesto which had local DJ's playing

Actually the very first tune in my video, I was loving it. First 35 seconds was my first experience of this kind of music live, it was great :D

None of those i'm afraid, i've been to quite a few house nights lately, i'm sure the funk junkies have got a copy. I'll have to ask it's name next time i see them.

How about this for a mini story, saw D. Ramirez last Saturday at Plug and got very messy. Went to the after party at DQ and spent the night partying on the dance floor with D Ramirez and his Girlfriend. Such a cool bloke :cool:
