By some drug'd up lad in a old bmw
i phoned the police and they come. he tryed to start the car, probably to drive off, but left it in gear and hit me agen :mad:

lucky for me he was insured. I was stationary behind a taxi (was also damaged when i went forward) and bmw guy didnt see me stopped i guess. He Tryed saying i was speeding and then I slammed on my brakes!! Taxi man defended me in front of the police. Ive just come back from hospital, they said ive got whiplash ect.. my damage isnt too bad, Boot is a bit bent, back bumper is broken, front is all scratched and my boot floor as a big crack in it where its joined.

That beamer defiantly looks like it came off worse, but then you dont know what your bumper if hiding.
Your focus doesnt even look like its got any damage! Unlucky though :(

Interesting attempt at shifting the blame, surely if you had been speeding, he'd have to have been going some in order to have been so close to the back of your car that he couldnt avoid a collision .

Unlucky that dude. Hope the insurance pay out, too, because my insurance always excluded cover if I was found under the influence of drink/drugs. Well, that's how it read with Admiral.

they still pay out to the 3rd party, just they wont pay out to you.

Yeah, that's pure fail there. Starting whilst in gear after an accident, you really do need to get some sort of money off this guy, just for being such an idiot.
My Mum was in a similar situation a couple of years back and she got compensated (I don't know how much) She didn't have to go to court or anything though.
Definately worth it just for the hassle and the pain. Imagine you will be quite inconvenienced by it? Especially when you wake up tomorrow and your neck feels awful!

Bad luck, hope the whiplash isn't too bad.

It seems like the guy in the beemer relised what little NCB he had was about to go up in a puff of smoke and paniced a bit. With a bit of luck he'll be back in a 1 litre corsa when his renewal comes up.

Was he deffinately on drugs? Some young people behave very stangely all the time.

I dunno if he was DEFINITELY on drugs but, he could barley stand up, kept sitting and leaning against the car, his pubil's were massive, face very pale, struggled to write down his details, stuttered speach. He was like one of the druggies you see on traffic cops ect

While I was there the Police didnt breathalyze anyone and they didnt seem to ask any questions, Just checked everyones insurance, which was the main reason I called them.

Main thing is no one was seriously hurt, I like my car but its an easy fix, just a massive inconvenience

All of those are also signs of shock. If he has just smashed into someone, no matter how small, you're are pretty shaken.
