**New 7.9 ATI Catalyst™ Vista Drivers**

Have you even tried at stock Rackerz?.

Also it's weird that 3dmark loops but a game crashes. They are both using graphics, memory and the CPU so I'd think if anything graphical came up it would still do the same .

They all crash, sometimes they both work fine, other times I just get no dice. I've tried stock, it's the same situation. Also, just now working on the desktop I got a lot of black blocks in the top right hand corner, artifacts in 2D?

Something is definitely up. No friends or family with a good PC nearby to test your card?. It's the quickest way to see if it is the card although it's sounding like it is :(.

Hmmm, no other system then. I'm just quite worried about sending it back to OCuK because the card doesn't act erratically all the time, it's completely random what it does.

i would have tryed it on a totally different system because it meant not like that configuration of system.. just an thought..

But it was all working before if I've got it right. It's just recently that it's been going all weird.

Im running a 1800XT (for now) will i see any improvements going from 7.8 to these 7.9 in QW:ET ?

Do have a lot of corrupted graphics on airborne, with the dutch map, when on scope mode with sniper rifle, building textures keep flashing on the walls.

Rackerz I've noticed several oddities on both systems I've built with 2900XTs. With my home system I get those black blocks appearing randomly on desktop and occasionally in games like Bioshock even when it's on stock and temps are perfectly fine.

With the other it doesn't seem to have so many problems but I was just messing around in the desktop and suddenly the screen went blank and it seemed to turn itself off. I left it for 10-20 seconds and it came back to life but without a GPU recover message.

To be honest, I just hope it's a driver issue. I'm putting mine through a bit of testing and deciding whether it needs to go back.
