I've also come back after a long break. Noticed the xenophobic crew (VIRII/CBS/Dirtydog) is now permabanned. Breath of fresh air for these forums. Notice the lack of Anti-Islam threads as well!

Indeed, I gave up the forums and a week later noticed that they'd been banned, so came back.

Feels like a new place, less flaming and thread bashing, the mods went a bit mad with the banhammer for a little while but it was long overdue imo, and the place is better for it.

well i have to say i didnt realise they had gone. you guys probably dont knwo me that well, but i withdrew form the forums quite a bit because of the islam bashing threads etc as mentioned.

it would be nice ot know why people were banned in a banned list, so people would see where these guys/gals stepped over the line, as a lesson so to speak to the rest of the users...

There isn't one for ordinary members like us to see, from what I can tell the reasoning is that it wouldn't serve any useful purpose.

From what I recall cleanbluesky and VIRII were/are banned for being members of a forum viewed as being anti-OcUK, not for any reasons related to their posting here. See Spies post here.

It looks like every post has a whole line of wasted space. On a 19" widescreen I can now see fewer posts before having to scroll.
