I was watching a games review program on TV earlier.
My missus said she would play on a Wii which took me by surprise because apart from brain training on her DS Lite and a couple of card games on her PC, she isn't generally a gamer.
I've played tennis and bowling on a Wii and I enjoyed them, I have my Xbox 360 and PC for my gaming needs.
Personally I don't think I would use a Wii much but I'd like to hear from guys who have found games that really appeal to their girlfriends / wives with a list of games.
If I could find a few games that would keep her happy, a Wii might be an ideal xmas present :)

My girlfriend loves it... but then again, she loves Gears of Wars on the 360, so... not sure if her liking is more on the girly side :P

Well Wii sports is a bit of a winner for everyone I reckon, but it's not a reason to own the console.

You can get Brain Training, Trauma Center and Warioware. My other half liked all of those on the DS and they got good reviews on the Wii.

You have the Virtual Console for some classic Sonic games.

Exactly, this is why I would like some feedback from others before I spend the cash.
It would be pointless buying the console only for it to sit gathering dust.

My GF plays Trauma Centre all the time, I think she likes to think she's in an episode of Casualty or Greys Anatomy :p

Wii Sports and Big Brain Academy have been the biggest hits with the girls who come round. A few Wii Play games have been popular too, particularly spot the Mii. Wario Ware is a goodun too :)

In my experience gilrs love playing games like Tetris or Bejewelled etc. In other words games in which you have to organise chaos - or in other words they like games where you have to tidy up :p
