Jol's net spend has actually been less than £50m overall in 3 seasons. And before this season it was just £4m:

Those who are saying things like 'Capello or Lippi please' or some other managerial godsend like Johan Cruyff, do you actually believe Spurs would be able to attract that sort of manager? No way, and definitely not now the whole world has seen how well Jol has done and then for him to receive this sort of treatment. You will end up some idiot like Souness or Pleat again... that will set you back a few light years.
Have you 'fans' watched your teams last few games? You've had 6 shots cleared off the line in 3 games, and your players have probably missed the same amount of absolute sitters, then you've had to contend with conceding 'wonder' goals in all of those games. You can't really say Jol is the problem when you create that many chances and incredibly good players such as Berbatov are scuffing up chances they would put away with their eyes closed usually. Admittedly the Fabregas 'wonder' goal today could have been avoided if Huddlestone actually tracked back, rather than lumbering past the halfway line at the point the shot was taken. Only Jenas from the midfield had bothered to track back, yet you Spurs fans berate him and use it as a dig at Jol: 'Why does he insist on playing Jenas all the time?' The answer is because Jenas does things like that.
Jol is not tactically inept. His decisions at Fulham were no different to what the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson do in similar situations. Infact only a day later you saw Martin O'neill make the same decisions defending a lead against Chelsea - nobody questions him about that. Today the match was not on sky so those player ratings for Bale on the BBC have probably been done by people giving him a 10 because he scored a free kick... and whoever said sarcastically what a good decision to take Bale off was, well it was a good decision. Apart from that one free kick the game passed him by and he wasn't that effective.
People criticise Jol for sitting back when you take a lead like apparently you did today. That's obviously true when you had roughly the same shots, corners, and possession as Arsenal, including Berbatov shot cleared off the line and other players missing absolute sitters during the period between 1-0 and 1-1. Yes, that's sitting back
You Spurs fans are a disgrace. Your fickleness is unbelievable and its the reason you were a laughing stock of a club since the premiership started. Now you have a manager who has turned you into a great team, but you have a bad run and now you want him out? Every fan, manager and player from every other club is laughing all the way to and from White Hart Lane again, because you want to scew up the best thing that has happened to Spurs in 20 years.
Well done.
