Steam

Ive had enough since all these updates it seems to have really slowed down, its so annoyin, i dont know if its there side or mine, anyone else having problems?

yeh me too, its annoying :mad:

I have turned off in options 'automatically sign in to friends when i start steam' and 'enable steam community in game' it seems to of helped.

Anything to do with the Steam store is dog slow for me too, launches my game just fine.

You dont want to know what they have done to CS:S since the update. . . Hit registration is absolutley atrocious now. It was fine before, so what have they done.

How anyone can "hate" the new community features is beyond me. It's a vast improvement on the old system and if you don't like it then just don't use it!

what do you mean dont use it, its a mandatory update. I dislike it due to it showing other people and myself the nerd i really am! 60+ hours in 2 weeks of css! thats almost 5 hours a day!

Also, they've removed the "send an invitation" option from the friends window thats a bad move imo.

Like I said - don't use it. It's not mandatory at all, you don't have to have a profile. Don't see what the problem is :confused:
