Guys,
Got myself a 360 Elite and every now and then the screen glitches a little. I narrowed it down to the HMDI connector at the back of the console as when I wiggled the cable the problem went away.
However I am unsure if the problem lies with the provided HDMI cable or the consoles HDMI port. Would anyone recommend getting a new v1.3 HDMI cable. Or does the matter lie with the TV.

360 doesnt support 1.3 so no point in getting the cable even though it will work.

What do you mean by glitches? The 360 wont power up unless it can detect the source I have noticed. So even if my AV amp is on unless I select the 360 source the 360 will just wait at POST.

If its going directly to your TV via HDMI maybe see if you can borrow a HDMI cable from someone just to see if it is a dodgy connection. I wouldnt advise you go out and buy a new one though.

If its not that then it could be the actual socket on the 360.
