any one got a sky plus box and can answer a simple ?

Hi I have orderd sky plus and I am wondering how I am going to connect it to my 24" dell monitor + projector. I am prety much certian it wont have a Hdmi output but does it have a component output or is it all scart ?

If it's not the Sky+HD, I doubt it'll have component. It'll have RGB SCART and maybe composite output I reckon.

Ours is anyway. Normal non-HD sky+

My Sky+ box has a VGA port on the back. I dunno if its an output/input or whatever.

It'll be a serial port, not VGA.

I believe that is an RS232 port, rather than a VGA port.

Just scart, RGB capable. Should have gone for the HD box in this situation really.

yeah you should have got a HD box really, but invest in a RGB scart cable.

just a slight problem with the HD box they are £400

Just bought a second one for £150 off ebay myself. You dont have to buy them from sky.
