Do you keep magazines ?

Don't know if I've ever thrown one away. Got a good collection of old FHMs, some car modding magazine (name evading me; I was only about 14), and recently Maxim.

May I point out that Maxim is rubbish, I'm going back to FHM when my £10 for 2 years subscription finishes :)
 
I do, but as Justin said, rarely read them again. They'll probably end up being put in boxes and stored somewhere in the attic, where they'll hopefully be worth something in 20 years time. But probably not.
 
I've just started putting my old mags in the recycling bag once a fortnight. In a couple of years time I hope to have most of a room back :p
 
I don't really buy magazines, but apparently I did keep them when I used to get them... I found a massive pile of them under my bed when I cleared out my room.

Pretty much the same, for the first 3-4 years I was really into PC's I kept all the magazines I bought (including 3+ years worth of Computer shopper subscriptions).
I sort of stopped when I realised I had a couple of hundred inch+ thick magazines in my room, and a good internet connection.
 
Yes, i got some old PC game magazines. Don't know why, havn't touched them for years.

PC Zone issue 100 from 2001
PC GAMING World issue 1-7 from 2003
 
yes, I have loads, kinda nice to keep them, they are spread all over the house and garage so sometimes i'll find one that I forgot I had, which is always nice :p
 
I used to keep them. Had a big stack of Amstrad Action from the late 80s/early 90s lying around for years until I decided to chuck them given that the actual computer had long since been relegated to the loft. Then later on PC Zone and an assortment of lads mags which sat in a drawer for a few years. Most of them have now been thrown away although I did keep a PCZ from '98 as it had a letter from me published in it.

Nowadays I don't buy magazines, I just throw away the ones my fiancee buys :)
 
So what is the best way to rid of magazines? I havea good few hundred magazines, including PC zone ~first 100 issues, escape, net, 4 years of FHM, maxim, pc plus, pc pro, your sinclair, what hifi dozens of other magaziens as well.

Guess It's bonfire time.

Aye, i used too, but now i dont as they take up far too much space! Although just done a clearout and dont know what to do with some. Chucked lots of FHM's from 96/97/98 but have some classics... dont know if they are worth keeping, as in Gamesmaster Issue 1-5 and some old issues of Total! (class mag that one (got issue 1 minus cover).

Whitecrook, prob best to take them to your local council recycle centre, thats what i did :) enviroment+1
 
I have a collection of them, i keep them and never read them again but i can't throw them away. I don't know why, i really should just bin them.
 
Ive got a magazine rack right next to the bog containing about 20 FHM's

Gotta have something to read whilst snipping one off
