Anyone goto Silverstone today and watch the 6 hour marathon? First time of watching live Le Mans series racing. fantastic day. My g/f had VIP tickets courtesy of Embassy Racing who had a floor of the Brooklands building. Top guys for organising it for charity, top marks for the service and awesome experience all who attended enjoyed. We even were able to go into the garage before and during the race and watch all the live data on the PC's etc, very very interesting. Shame after 5 hours one of the wheels came lose on their car and they went from 2nd in LP2 to last, truely gutting for them.

The car park also had some interesting marques today including a SLR 755, GT40's, GT, Ferarris, Lambos.

Did not take any pictures unfortunatly becase in my haste this morning forgot it, but what a fanstatic day out.

Noise of the day gotos the sideout exhaust on the Panoz, they were beasts ears still ringing from them and other American GT class monsters.

The SLR 722 you saw did it have V8 as part of the number plate? As saw one at Le Mans and it's owned by the Team Modena owner.

I was there on saturday, and yes it did. Team Modena out in force - quite a few road cars with their "M" sticker on em.

Pics up soon. :)
