Its not a genuinely fast car by any stretch of imagination. Its a "hot" car, but genuinely fast would imply something which is genuinely fast, regardless of its class. A 1.6VTEC civic is fast for a small engined civic, but is not fast regardless. My bog standard boring 2 tonne lazy automatic saloon is faster than one for example.

Anyhow, this is totally off topic. The original poster has clearly done a great job on his car and it looks very nice.

Nah this car has never seen a tow truck, that was probably a green civic coupe that i was putting in the bin about a month or two ago.

So what are your plans for the engine? Swap? Boost?

If you stick with the SOHC your only option is boost as a n/a buildup on the D-series is a lost cause IMO. Which engine is that btw? A d15 of some sort?
