Hi overclocked my CPU and Ram, find after running Prime95 for a while my PC freezes. does this usually mean its a problem with the Ram ie the Voltage or the CPU ??

I would guess that if the PC just suddenly restarts then its a problem with the CPU and freezers is caused by Ram ?

Would usually increasing the voltages sought this problem out, I have no idea.

thanks

Hi Jamie

I'm afraid you can't work out which component is hard freezing from the overclock just like that - I'd suggest that you only overclock one thing at once, loosen your RAM timings whilst you up the FSB etc, then you know when one component is maxed out before raising the clocks on the other.

There's some good overclocking guides in the overclocking section for you to peruse :)
