Looks very smart for 500.

What are the 214s and 216s like for reliability and running costs?
Planning on looking into these myself in a week or two as my first car.

As I said earlier, had my 214Si for a year now and had no trouble apart from the odd tire going flat. Pretty good fuel consumption, depending on how you drive it obviously. If you take it easy it generally last a very long time.
 
not bad for £500!

bLuEuK its a toss up between 8v and 16v 214. 16V are more prone to HGF though my 8v is quite slow compared to the 16v!
