In what way ?
AFAIK, the 2900 series and the 8800 series are both compliant.
From what I read, they are dx10 compliant but not dx10.1. There was a thread about it on overclockers somewhere

Microsoft said themselves that all cards will run fine in direct x 10.1 at least supported anyways which we expect! But to be honest its not bringing too much to the table I dont think!
Is it not meant to be 4xAA with no performance hit?. Well one of the features anyway. If that's true then it's an amazing feature.
You'll be surprised how well this old X1800 does! I completed Bioshock on high 1280x1024 on the little beauty!
Look like bargains to me but then Nvidia have been selling a bargain since the start called the GTS 320!
Yeah but only releasing the memory leak fix about one week ago was a bad move IMO. 11 days from now and the 8800GTS 320mb might get pushed to the back of the pile because the 2900 pro's and so shortly after the amazing fix. I think it's a shame for Nvidia users with this card
. Nvidia should have had this fixed a long time ago.
To be honest I never had any issues with the games I played/
Stalker,Bioshock,SC,Wow,Eve,Loki,2142,Quake Wars Demo,GRAW2,Vegas .....
Thats running 1920x1200 where possible unless its hardcoded to 1600x1200.
Sweet. I never knew that all of these titles were playable at high resolutions. I thought a lot of them needed to be Alt+Tabbed frequently because of the memory leak and that just seemed a hassle to me.
I'm glad it's not as bad as I've been led to believe.
So then.
If you had the choice of a GTX or Crossfire 2900Pro's... which would you go for and why?
Price wise they are nigh on the same.
