Is the popup coming up saying "Team Fortress is preparing to Launch" then nothing Happens?

If so. Add this to your launch options, under properties...

-dxlevel 80 -w 1440 -h 900 -console -windowed

change the res obviously if yours is different

Should fix it.

I went on a bit of a rampage as the heavy guy doing that...someone was medic and i took down about 4 or 5 of them. Was sweet. I'm clegg on there by the way.

still can't get the friggin' thing to work for any length of time with out it locking up

furthest I've got is going straight into a local server and moving about 5 foot.
what with this and not getting a free Crysis beta key it's been a poo week for gaming where I'm sitting.
