Sounds like you've somehow wound up on the Nightly update channel. If you go to about:config, then app.update.channel, what is it set to?

The easy way to fix it is just to dump a 2.0.0.7 install over the top - it won't break your profile (I'd still recommend backing up), and nothing has really changed.
