The address on the photo isnt mine, the box has been re-used obviously. Anyway its a 8800 GTX OC2. Delighted

How can i tell if the cards fake or not ? the seller told me it came in a prebuilt " Well known seller " machine but it wasnt justified hense the sale.

Im worried now, ive been waiting 2 weeks for this thing !

He may work in the games industry. We used to get cards coming through that wern't due to be released for a while and they would be mostly blank all over, no branding. The fun bit was usually finding out drivers didn't exist for them so we would have to bodge drivers in to working, great fun...

If it is a type of reference card, it should be fine but might have one or two little quirks but yours just looks like a normal card to me!

I will put the card in tonight, i just wanted to find the exact brand. So i could confim the clock speeds etc.

Surely when you bought it you knew if it was the shops own make like OCUK or a more well known make like BFG etc.

its an Nvidia OEM card. Only found on a well known PC builder with their higher end PCs. I have the same one and they are great.

it looks like an nVidia reference sticker, usually found on the official nVidia ones, not the branded ones like BFG, its definitelly not the BFG OC2 one, if it has the clocks then its had a bios flash to do it

He told me it was the OC2 Version, either way i dont mind i paid very little for it. And i can just up the clocks if needs be.

He's said OC2 about five times, only BFG make an OC2 model.
