Anyone know what alloys these are?.

Hi,

Ive seen these alloys on a couple of VTRs now and quite like the look of them. Ive had a look around but cant seem to find them. Anyone know what they are?, and what price id be looking at.

Also a quick question, if i was to fit 16" alloys and the stock alloys were 14"/15" (not sure of the wheel size of the stock VTR) would the speedo need reconfiguring to display the correct speed?. Is this something that can be done by me or is it a specialist job?. Sorry for all the questions, this is going to be my first car so Ive got a lot to learn.

VTR wheels are 185/55/14, to keep the correct speedo reading and have no clearance issues you will need 195/45 on 15" wheels or 195/40 on 16" wheels. But stick to 15". Those wheels look pretty horrible if you ask me but then on a saxo I'd really only consider wheels from speedline/compomotive and the lightweight oz/td ones.

I don't know what those wheels are but like others have said, the standard VTR alloys look better. Get some nice 5 spoke 15" wheels like some Compomotive Mo's

Thanks for clearing that up for me GT3. One more question, Ive noticed that the rear wheel on the Saxo is a lot wider than the front. Would i have to buy a wider alloy for the back?.

All four are the same size mate, they don't have wider rears than fronts.

Ahh right, i think it must be that the VTR has wider tyres than the normal Saxo then?.

Dont like the look of them. I would prefer the standard ones really to those. Would be a bad choice imo.

Yeah after looking at them a bit more they look a bit tacky. But I'm not that keen on the standard VTR alloys really. I like the ones posted further up the thread, I'm going to look at that site later on.

If anyone has any other suggestions they think would suit the Saxo VTR that would be great.

No worries. I don't know if that is a good place to buy from or not because I have never used them, that was just the first site that popped up when I searched for 'Compomotive Mo'. The prices on there seem Ok and they have lots of different sized wheels.
