Ducati's new road legal 200hp desmosedici.

Hehe looks loovely, better start doing the lottery aswell :p
Nice to see other bike manufacturers coming back up top, wonder if ducati is any more reliable though, would not want to pay 40k for a bag of bolts :p

It has been around for a while now, first proper write up i've seen though. I would really love to ride that beast, perhaps it is a bit too much for the road though. . . who knows?

Lets hope this gives other manufacturers the idea, i'd love to see honda start bringing powerful v4/v5s to the masses!

From him saying 'You have to ride the wheels off it' in reference to making the bike feel good I'd be tempted to say yes.

Also, data logging... do the Police have authority to demand it?

Honda were thinking of building an RCV for the road, but said it would cost too much, but after Ducati's sell-out, i hope they have a re-think.
Now an RC211V on the road would be verry nice:D

cracking stuff!

I current.ly ride a VTR SP1 VTwin, and tbh, after having gone for a twin, the inline 4s i have ridden dont feel "right", so if Honda could bring out an affordable VTwin, then it could be the perfect upgrade for me...

You'd be looking for a Guzzi then ;).

i love it.

i can't understand why they wouldn't homoglamate it for BSB though? Imagine the performance once they derestrict it! :D

rumor has it that if Ducati couldnt get their own way and run the 1098 in WSB, then they were going to enter the Desmosedici.
Rumor has it Honda have an RC61 in the pipeline, 1200CC V-twin to counter the 1098.

Some thing classical about the Desmosedici though, no huge beam frame and a very simple elegant line about the fairing.
