For some time now I’ve been thinking of starting doing the lottery as i’ve not even tried playing it as I think it’s a waste of money. As well its pure luck, what are the odds of winning now?

Bascly if you have a spare few £'s play it i did win once i got £65 yeaaahhh and nver payed it after my win

I usually put £5 on a week. It's petty cash, it doesn't even buy two pints. It's not just about the big one, although you do have to be in it to win it. I tend to win more on euro millions. It seems relatively easy to win the bottom prize (£6.50)

As people have said if you have some spare cash, then why not.

i got 4 numbers a dew weeks ago. won 60 odd quid. if nothing else it payed for a year or 6 months of playing.

im always a few days from being a millionaire. i like that thought

All the same, I bought one Euromillions ticket this morning so I can idly pass the day pondering what ways I could spend £18 million.

It's no diffrent to any other form of betting. It's just an easy bet, which you don't have to think about, the odds reflect that.

The amount I spend on it, I couldn't buy anything nice.

to a point but with a return of about 50% it is a poor bet, most bookies bets return around 90% , much better to bet on the Irish lottery at the bookies ( or bet on noine as I do )
