Sega Rally Demo (PS3)

This is up on the USA store now, has anyone tried it yet? has anyone compared the 360 version with the ps3 version (just curious)?
 
I've been playing it this morning, I love it!

It's better than the DiRT demo in my opinion, I just need to get more used to the handling, its been a while since I played a Sega Rally.

One thing i'd like to know though (not sure if nintenjo can answer this) do the cars have different stats like top speed, handling, acceleration etc. or are they just cosmeticly different?

All in all though I love it and will be keeping my pre-order :)
 
Played both.

Exactly the same as each other. Ran both games PiP and still didnt notice any difference.

Ran the same on both!

But i noticed better sound on PS3 and rumble on 360 ;)

Played this yesterday, no jaggies slowdown etc, but the game just didn't grab me. I have the Dirt game at home on rental, so I think that will be my "rally" style game this year. I much preferred that demo.

Got Motorstorm, got DiRT this week, got Sega Rally on preorder.
They're all different enough that I'll enjoy all three... and roll on Burnout Paradise too ;)

Got this last night and i must say i love it :) and i like it much more than motorstorm which just frustrates me, deffo gonna buy it just hope the full version has options to change controls as i hate the l2 and r2 button configuration x and square my preferred method :p
 
Ahhh, well the same happened with Dirt so think I better setup a US account... I'll get someone to tell me how later..

Hmm good point never really thought about till u mentioned it as bonnet cam is my fave view now im gonna be annoyed at no dirt on my bonnet now dam you ;):p
 
I would hazard a guess that they are about the same.
The fact nintenjo said as much and he works on it might have something to do with it :p.

Umm well im pretty sure this is mentioned in the press reviews so wont get told off. There are 3 main classes of cars aall with differetn hanleing, then each car in the class has slight varitions in stats, and there are specialist cars that are unlockable which have much more variation in stats... So the answer is yes i guess :P

The Demo cars i think are the same tho or at last very near identical in stats, as there both in the same class and standard cars, with similar wheel base etc.
