Every so often I'm getting the USB Device disconnected sound followed by the USB Device connected sound.

Too quick for me to find out what just got unplugged. Anyone know how to find out what's dropping out intermittently?

USB bong?

:p

i lold ^_^, this happens sometimes on my case, means i have to relocate my usb parts which usually solves my problem, the only thing that is caused by this though is my Netgear WiFi dongle. so really any kind of dongle, or anything that gets quite warm.

I have that bong when I turn my monitor on and off, as my 3007 has a built in card reader that is connected to my PC, whenever I turn my monitor on and off it turns that off.

I just disable the bong noise in Control Panel > Sounds > Device Connect/Disconnect. Set those to none and you won't ever hear that again!

Hmmm, I have plugged into USB now:
>Card read + Floppy Drive combi.
>Z-Board Gaming keyboard.
>Logitech G7.
>Bluetooth Dongle.

I think the bluetooth dongle is the most likely suspect.

I have XP 32bit

And I do have a DFI infinity P965-S Dark.

I'm not going to change the board as the problem is only annoying because of the sound, my USB memories work fine. I like this motherboard.
