There are a couple of murco's near me which dont take allstar, much to my annoyance after shoving £55 of diesel in the car :/

Like many, I think the lowest I've ever put in in £10, normally I just fill the tank, unless I'm on an emergency fill and can't find super or am paying way over the odds...

Only the finest for my car(s), thanks!

Don't think I've filled up with normal diesel or petrol for months, always V-Power or BP Ultimate etc.

£5 in a car I was test driving. Otherwise I just brim it. If you don't you're only wasting petrol driving to the petrol station to fill up again.

Put in between £10 and £15 in at a time. Keep weight down

I fill up everytime. I fold down my rear seats to combat the weight of the extra fuel.

Not to sound cocky but I fill the tank, every time, to the brim and only revisit the fuel station when that runs dry again. I see no point doing it any other way.

Same. It's not like filling up more often is any less expensive, and I dont want to spend the majority of my life hanging around petrol stations.

That reminds of the one about the guy got caught speeding- said he wanted to get to the petrol station before his petrol ran out

Lowest amount i have ever put in is something like 14.78 which was the change I had to get me home, always brim it so I can keep an eye on my fuel economy. Plus means I have to stop less often, always annoying being in a petrol station constantly.

i put 22p of bt ultimate in mine back in the spring at some scumbag station in ipswich - the pump was conked out.


normally i put 20 quid in.
