It started with me receiving 2 conditional offers from Greenwich and Westminster based on me getting a Merit grade on my art and design foundation course.

3 weeks ago I then get a call saying they haven't received my results even though I had already sent out photocopies. So i fax them send out more copies and scan them but I get a email back saying I didn't make the grade. I ring up and try to explain how my course is marked and tell them the box with the title overall result is my grade but the woman just wouldn't believe me so I tell her I'll get my old tutor to ring her up. She does this and everything is fine.

I had rang up accommodation earlier that week and they said they can't do anything until they get my results. So I rang up yesterday and I finally get someone helpful on the phone but he tells me they haven't received my application for accommodation which i sent out over 2 months ago. So I won't be moving into halls any time soon because the course tutor didn't have a clue as to how a foundation diploma was graded.

The fact is they could have told me this earlier so I could have actually done something and I have no idea why I gave UCAS £15 as my UCAS status is now clearing!

Does anyone know who I should complain too? I don't really want to start off on bad terms with the course tutor but I'm not letting this lie as I should be moving out today and now I'm going to have to commute. Maybe they should pay for my travel eh.

If you think that lot was bad - wait till you start the course.

Its an eduction establishment. From my experience - all colleges / Unis / FE admin departments are the same. They deal with too many applicants at once and as most are just back from the summer break themselves - they are all still in holiday mode and need a kick up the rear end. They also employ a lot of in-experienced people and not many have any form of cross-checking or proofing before they perform actions that are extremely important to a students future.

Basically, all the people in charge of admissions and accomodation are complete admin worker tools who don't know ****. Speak to an academic and you will be fine...which is kinda hard if you haven't really been accepted mind. :p
