My PC did 3.6ghz, now it doesn't??!??!

Damnit, just tried to do 3.6ghz, I was running this 1 month ago, when I set the settings in the bios and restart, it won't even post. It just tries to start up and then dies, repeatedly. Kinda strange considering I was running this orthos stable for 5 hours just 1 month ago Ideas? I have checked, double checked, triple checked all settings, I am a fairly experianced overclocker and this has stumped me

Also forgot to mention it won't even do 3.51ghz now, which I was running for 4 months completely orthos stable

What voltage and load temps were you getting in Orthos?

1.575v, 60 load, on watercooling, yeh its a pretty bad chip but ambient temps are cooler now.

I can only think that 1.575V is pushing it, see how my chip is doing in 6 months time .

TBH 1.6v on water isn't really something to worry about. I'm just frustrated that the thing wont post when just 1 month ago it was orthos stable. Since then I had run it at 2.8ghz up until today when I saw this problem. Very annoyed and confused

Sorry guys, I just did the overclock bit by bit in the bios and kept saving. Worked and it booted up. However the following day it broke again, even though it's orthos stable lol Guess my chip can't take it

It wouldn't do 3.6 on anything less Bad chip. Bad down at 3.51 @ 1.525v, much better
