Gametrailers Halo 3 Review is up!!

Its doing well in reviews. AAA games flying around all over the place on the 360 lately its brilliant, last month bioshock, this month Halo and next month we have PGR4 and then Mass Effect!

I may not of been too kind about this game in other threads concerning the hype, however, that review has impressed me to the point that I have just pre-ordered Halo 3.

It's not a patch on Bioshock IMO. But hey, it's all about personal opinions at the end of the day :)

Bioshock was an over rated piece of baloaney, not saying it was rubbish but it was nowhere near the 10/10 game and it should not be in the top 10 games of all time twice ahead of the likes of Half Life. Not surprising Halo 3 is getting better scores, it has an awesome multiplay component which is always a win for consoles.

Subtract the word Bioshock from your first sentance and replace it with Halo 3 and you have summed up my opinion of the game. And IMO Bioshock definately deserves it's place in the top 10 games of all time, it's easily the best game I have played since the original Half-life. It is simply miles ahead of H3's dull, generic, repetitive single player game.

Multiplayer may well be great, but I'm more of a single player gamer myself, and in that respect H3 doesn't deliver. It's single player game doesn't even come close to Bioshock. It is totally overrated.

It's silly to argue about anyway, it's all subjective.

Considering the amount of time i spent playing through bioshock, and the value for money. I think its a great game.

However, considering i paid £5 for halo 2, where i never even completed the single player but have racked up 100s of hours playing multiplayer and still play to this day (just had my a game of team hardcore on mm) i cannot wait to get my hands on the next in the series.

The online experience is so fluent and varied it always keeps you interested and wanting to play more.

Thats wierd cos HL is one of my favourite games of all time yet I got about an hour into Bioshock before I eventually lost interest. Each to their own I guess.

I dont see the point in comparing Bioshock to H3 anyway. Multiplayer has always been Halos strong point and I'm sure that wont be a letdown. I'll reserve judgement on the single player until I've played through it.

Bioshock felt like a bit of a chore to play through at times. Very overrated. I hope the story in Halo 3 isn't as much of a mess as in Halo2 - I played that game just thinking "wtf is going on?"! Looking forward to Mass Effect more, just hope the combat in it doesn't turn out to be rubbish.

You talk like you've already played and completed Halo 3? It's not released until later this week so how on earth can you be basing such judgements on a game you haven't even played?

[EDIT] just read your posts in the official hread so would like to retract the above comments! DOH![EDIT]
