Do you spend more time playing games or reading the internet ??

before i got adsl, all my time on the pc was playing games, but since adsl, its about 90% bumming about the net and the other 10% actually playing games.

I browse & Spam more than i game. More so these days as i only play two games & both less than i used to. I'd rather talk/chat with my mates to be honest.

I think i browse more than play .. theres always something i need to find more information about, i do like games but i patiently wait and wait and wait for 'the next big thing' to come along, and i follow the official threads in here ....
and after the initial "wow the graphics at 50000x12455 rule on my 9900 ultra ninja hellcard" the 'real' reactions seem to set in and all the crap repetitive bits and bugs start to be discussed and it just puts me off.

so far :- bioshock - decided against. world in conflict (or w/e its called) failed the buy me test

still on the cards for treating myself with :- moh - airbourne, cod4 when its out.

Browsing is a bad habit really. Don't get much out of it most of the time and once I start it's hard to stop and get down to something more productive. It's like quick fix entertainment as it takes a couple of seconds to fire up a browser and hit a bookmarked site whereas firing up a full-screen game takes probably a minute or so to get into the action. Can't even imagine having to swap disks to load a game anymore like in the old days, can't be arsed with that anymore.

The internet has killed my attention span.

i spend most of my time on here and on msn. i really should fire up wow and do a bit on that but i really can't be asked at the mo.

Don't play much games now mainly just the odd poker game really but if im on comp it's usually msn or reading some forums or listening to music.

Same as you OP though I have just start playing KOTOR again so I can see myself spending more time with that. In reality though I should be packing for uni cos I move 2moro :/

I spend a lot of my time on the internet...but even more of it organising things that allow other people to play games. I'm sure I've lost the plot there somewhere ;)

Good post! Sums it all up.

100% on forums - email - web reviews etc i dont have a pc to play games on :p well not until i get mine built that is , but i will be looking to spend some serious hours gaming soon .

I agree. Its rather sad but since building myself my new pc i have probably spent more time reading and debating about games than actually playing them.

I probably spend more time browsing the 'net, but at the end of the day it's much easier to open Firefox than be in the mode for something like CS, not to mention the fact that a lot of the times you just don't feel like gaming. I used to be much worse, but since getting back into PC gaming I tend to play more now, even if it's just firing up something like Peggle or Trackmania for twenty minutes.

I tried peggle. Seems a bit boring. This is far better

Try the demo and go on puzzle mode and see what score you can get. I love games like this, bejeweled.

I seem to remember a game on amiga called bitboy that was quite good. Like a platform puzzle game. Google returned nothing :(
