Thats what I thought but apparently it messed up some stores "rotas" for putting the games onto the shelves

Are you referring to Halo, H2 or H3? I would agree if it was H2 and 3 however I think the original was mainly for splitscreen 4 players max unless there were lan parties going on.

I'm surprised this thread has grown by 4 pages since I checked like this morning before I left the house :p Cant wait to see what its like when people start receiving them tomorrow (me included)

Right I'm off to play the halo 2 campaign again for tomorrow :D Played the original splitscreen on Saturday night with a mate - brought back lots of memories :D

Meh, there happen to be gamers who think directly the opposite. 4x4 is just boring imo. Getting tired of seeing 360 games supporting small amounts of players. I was hoping H3 would be like PD0 supporting up to 32+.
 
Just got of the phone from the guys with the Ladder and TBH i dont think they are going to ship them till tomorrow! BLEH! Due to this i asked them if i could cancel my order but i got a no.....

Reason i want to cancel is i dont want to be wating on wednesday till 12 until mr post man arrives...Or i could drive into town "10min" and pick one up from game at 8am.......

So i dont know if they will ship it today or tomorrow..just a heads up dont be expecting it. :(
 
Admittedly it's been a long time since I've delt with the "ladder" guys (Playstation days) but even back then, they were a bunch of cretins. Nothing I ordered arrived for about 2 weeks and customer service was like hitting a brick wall.
 
16 players is fine for Halo it doesnt need anymore since it would ruin the game. Play Big Team Battle now and you will see how laggy it is and how unorganised the teams are.

I just prefer to play 5vs5 or 4vs4vs4, if there is anymore then that and I just dont find it fun, since everyone is just running off like headless chickens.
 
Doubt I will be using them again either, since they have been no help what-so-ever while trying to find out whether it was normal for them to not list a despatch date, which they did for my last 3 pre-orders with them.

I only ordered with them this time because other places weren't taking them yet and I wanted to be one of the first.
 
As krono said I meant in custom games, anymore then that and it just gets out of control I find. In matchmaking I only play 4vs4 or 2vs2

I ordered on the 20th, so if mine doesn't turn up for Wednesday, I won't be happy.
 
anything more than 4 v 4 just doesn't work unless you are playing in a clan that no each other very well. Its impossible to work as a team with 7 strangers.
 
god i suck at this in multiplayer, lol, also seen loads of people boosting with 2 people signed in on 1 account in slayer matches going around in a group together, ruins it, i realise why i don't bother with fps onine anymore, lol

They told me that on a web chat today too :(

But i just checked and my order is now at complete, with a despatch date of today woohoo
