Nah cricinfo...altho they have been diabolically slow today.

Oh well good thing i rung my mum up to tell her to stop recording...no point in seeing a game where India have beaten us.

Bloody hell it was close...Misbah almost did it for us again...just a shame we lost too many wickets earlier on or else we would have beaten India...:(

Finally cricinfo has caught up lol...why did Misbah play such a silly shot??:confused:...had 4 balls to make 6 runs...dear oh dear...thats inexperience for u i guess.
 
I actually picked Pakistan to win it from the start, but haven't been able to watch much of it.. kinda glad they didn't win, because they were nice odds as well, 8/1 iirc, so i'd haev been livid :p
 
This was as nerve racking reading ball by ball commentry on the net than watching it on tv!!!!

Wow what a final .. fantastic .. Poor old Misbah .. just hit it straight son .. oh well .. its hard to fault him since he dragged it back for Pakistan .. :)
 
Damn just had a call from my mums sisters hubby, who just happens to be an indian himself:(...long story, wont go into it. But just had him cackling down the phone at me:p...looks like im taking them all out for dinner tonight as we made a bet that if India win then we pay for dinner and if Pak win they pay...

Thanks Pak for costing me a good couple of hundred quid tonight:p..

Yup his inexperience cost us the game but i dont blame him really..he did what he had to do..it was the other batsmen like Afridi, Nazir, Hafeez, Younis who cost us the game with their silly batting display. Im more angry with Nazir for gettin himself run out...what a muppet:rolleyes:.

But if it wasnt for Misbah we wouldnt have got so close to winning it. So credit to him for getting Pak close.
