My dad has a bunch of old records and I was going through them, putting some on for a laugh and adjusting the rpm on the spinning thing.

And this album actually sounds quite good at normal rpm. My favorite song is Brain damage or us and them.

If any of you have heard of this band or album whats your favorite song off the record?
 
The Dark Side of the Moon spent 741 consecutive weeks on the USA-based Billboard 200 album chart, the longest duration in history so i think quite a lot of people have heard of it.:cool:
 
thats only 14 years and the record is well old... cause its a record isnt it. Although you can probably get it on cd if its as popular as you claim.

I also like money, Good riff.
 
Has anyone heard of the band or album? It's possibly one of the most famous albums of the era :p

Bit before my time but it's definately a fantastic album.

not after it has spent over 700 weeks in the charts, however my picture disc may be worth something.
Has the OP been living in the attic with these records?, it's the only way of never knowing how popular the vinyl is
 
Yeah great band and great album. I'm fairly sure this won't be new information to most people though! Quite shocked you've never heard of it/them!
 
Apparently if you start it at exactly the same time as The Wizard of Oz movie, the album finishes first.

Why not have fun at home racing other music/movie combinations? :)
 
my god, everyone knows who pink floyd are! (btw that's their most famous album and album cover imo)
