He doesnt like any single player games so it wouldnt make any difference whether he played Halo 1 or not

I can't actually believe people are into Halo but don't care about the Single player.... that's what its all about for me, where you can lose yourself for a few hours and forget about everything else.

Sure owning people in MP is fun too but for games like these, Single player is my priority.

Dont be to eager, my mate is a big fan too loves the sotry and after playing it with me Co-Op at the weekend he was so disapointed he doubts he'll even pick up a copy now :eek:

lol, Yea from what ive heard I wont hype myself up for it, the thing is me and my mate are ment to be playing it, now im having second thoughts, might put it off, play it on heroic by myself then do Legendary with him.

I agree. Halo's storyline draws me in, more than the multiplaying aspect of the games- though that is fun too.

People that don't appreciate this game as much as some tend to be those that have downloaded it for free. Does something to the psyche not parting with your hard earned...i'm certain. They miss out on a whole lot i think..namely the excitement of waiting for the release date, hoping you get it a day early, having it land on your doormat and knowing that a lot of people on the forums will be up for some MP.

Halo is ALL about the multiplayer.

Gotta disagree with that mate - it dosnt get reviewed 9.5/8 out of 10 for the multiplayer - since you havent actually played the original game I dont really think you can be a judge of the single player

Where would it be without campaign?

Just finished my four hour session of yet another play through of Halo 2. There is no logic behind your judging so I wont take it into account that in my opinion the campaign makes Halo one of the best games of all time
