I nearly did a crazy thing but I still may..

He's wrong, You notice how the the 680i chipset offers 3 PCI-E 16x slots don't you.

Well nVIDIA are supposed to be enabling a function where you can use any nVIDIA PCI-E card in the 3rd slot to act as a physics card. That was the rumour anyway.

So the 2nd bridge is for connecting the 2nd card to the 3rd card.

sort of like this

Yes now you mention it and show the pics, Ive seen and read all that, thanks lol.

BTW, peeps in here do not like being told their wrong, even when they are.

The set up you have just now would i imagine play most games at full graphics. Why dont you hold on abit longer for that new cpu/mobo/graphics card. Whats the point in spending over £1k for something that will be beaten when ever nvidia bring out their new card?

If i was you i would buy something else if the money is really burning a hole in your pocket, got any other hobbies/intrests? Hell if you need something to pass the time take a dip into water cooling or phase which will come in handy even with newer chips and graphics cards.

Mate. Dont take this the wrong way, but get a (proverbial) life!
Nearly £1k on PC bits!!
Why not bank it and earn some interest, or spend it on an IT course at your local college...who knows where that could lead!?

Good luck, i know you'll make the RIGHT decision.;)
