Girls and shoes?

It's close. No seasonal reference and incorrect punctuation but it will do for here...

I had no idea it was so involved - I guess that's what happens when you don't improve upon knowledge you gained in high school - seems that the 5-7-5 thing doesn't apply strictly to syllables, but a japanese measurement of phonetic units.

Even as an uncultured appreciator-of-haiku, I thought it was a particularly beautiful form of poetry and, being short, it satisfied my crappy attention span - but having read, even, some of the examples on the wikipedia entry, I can see it's something I'm going to have to look into further.

thanks for the inadvertant education :)

My beloved OH has waaaaay more shoes than me, but he never wears trainers, so he's got loads of casual shoes. I have to admit to going a bit over the top on a new pair of Vans while we were shopping for England in Chicago recently, but apart from that I only have about 6 pairs of shoes and 3 handbags.

Some people have to have loads of pairs anyway to make up my under-average achievements. Aparently women over the age of 40 own, on average, 19 pairs of shoes

My current gf had a compliment at work the other day on a new pair of shoes and was asked why she always wears heels.

"My bf is 6'2", so I need to wear them! :D"

My gf is 5'10", I'm about 6'4"...She's regularly my height or a bit above in her heels.

An old pic but four figure shoes:

As much as I love traditional form, I prefer simply to construct something in 5/7/5...Punctuation and season occasionally.

My favourite is still:

Peaceful slogan year!
But I'd rather have the bomb
Than these damn hippies.

I must be one of the very few girls who don't have an obsession about shoes...

I HATE shoe shopping and much rather go for shoes that I know will be comfortable for the whole evening and I can dance in than go with what is fashionable.

In fact I haven't even changed out of my trainers today.. oops.

See my girlfriend finds heels comfy, and will quite happily dance (be it club, ball room etc.) in them, but trainers aren't comfy.
She does like shoe shopping...it's a pain going into Bournemouth centre...as there is a Faith shop we have to walk past.

I love your gf already.. next time she goes shoe shopping, I'll gladly escort her :p

I dont think i have an unreasonable amount of shoes, but every pair i own with one exception has high heels. This is because i am a short arse and have footballers legs. Heels make them look slightly less masculine than Roberto Carlos`s. :(
