I wanna go to the IMAX

I certianly aint forking out for "Memorabilia" though.
And Kreeeee, I hate to break it to you but all the books were written using the Bungie Halo Bible. which few mere mortals have had the privilege to view. They were commissioned by Bungie and had to be approved by Bungie prior to being published. The Halo novels are in canon and the game is considered to be part of the way Bungie are telling this story (obviously if Halo1 had not been a big success then the books and the movies and spinoff media would not have been published) The first book (I can never remember the names) tells the story of how the spartians were selected and trained ( a very good book) the second is actually the written version of Halo1 ( with a bit of back story and insights into other characters not seen in the game but still arguably the weakest of all the books - written by a different author from 1,3,4) the third book is the story of what happened after Halo 1 and before halo 2. Book 4 is about the new Spartan program and book 5 will be about Sgnt Johnson.
All the books, comics tie in together with the game and are considered part of the story.
In that sense it is very rich and detailed. However as you say, nothing new, but what stories these days are not drawn from stories already told?
