Hey i don't know if any of you have seen this but its being advertised on Virgin Media 1 and is coming out soon so i thought i would just give you a heads up as i have just watched the pilot episode and its pretty darn good i think. The Time line is after Terminator 2 and before Terminator 3.... Don't know what more to add to that really.
 
Not sure your allowed to speak about leaked episodes on here :p but yer the show starts in January, it should be 'ok' TV but story wise its pretty terrible in relation to movies.
 
give it another few more episodes.... till its canned just like Blade was ;)

What a disaster some of these TV series are lol, almost like there trying to just cash in....
 
Can't believe Lena Headey signed up to play Linda Hamilton's part. It's like casting Jessica Biehl to be double for Barbara Straisand. :D
Pilot was weak, the bad Terminator is a weakling kid, the good Terminator is a weakling kid, storyline has plot holes of a size of Arnies biceps, the effects are on pair with what you would expect to be Albanian sci fi production. I give it 3 weeks. Tops.

Me too but if they had to do it they could have done a lot worse than how the pilot turned out (according to US reviews obviously).

As I understand it this one works on the principle that the third film will never happen. Best for all concerned really.

I thought the visual and special effects look pretty good in this series. Time will tell obviously but it seems 100 times better than T3.

I'm huge Terminator(1&2).Terminator 3 was nothing short of an abomination however this series looks like it could turn out ok.

It's best to just think of everything after T2 as non-canon.

I seen the pilot and it was great. the effects I would say are good. certainly did not appear low budget.

lots of action, good story arc. plus its got a hot terminator to protect hm played by Summer Glau umm yes please :D
 
dear god its only a matter of time before they make a tv show of the aliens or predator universe :(:mad:

Hot or not, it was never about terminator being easy on the eye teenager. This series will make Terminator franchise a laughing stock, just like they did with Highlander using the series.

Did you actually see Terminator 3, because if you had you'd know that the franchise was already spoilt.

Like I said before if you just take everything after T2 as non-canon then this series isn't bad. T3 still sucks, T2 and T1 are still amazing and this new series is ok on its own.

Saw it about a month ago, didn't think much of it tbh, Sarah(chick from 300) is flippin fine though :D. Don't like the actor that plays John either,
 
i'll watch it as even if it's poor it'll still kick most of the dross that's currently on TV out of the park.
