Well to be fair M8, unless you know what part of the game/demo that jrodga2k5 ran, the results cant be fairly compared, if you did run the exact bench, then its all good.

i benchmarked it at the first level...

but i can't see it would make much different because i get about the same fps on other levels...

When you overclocked you said you used ati tool i just downloaded 0.27 does the ati not do 2d/3d thing? as the clocks atm its showing as 507/514 atm but has no option for 2d/3d etc.

Medal of Honor: Airborne

Another brand new game this time from EA and it is the cinematic experience in WWII games! Some lovely visual effects including motion blur really make you feel a part of the game! Nice frantic action and definately worth a look!
Again issues with getting AA to enable here which was annoying tbh but again lets hope for an update soon

About 13fps more on average (at only Pro speeds) is a big enough gap to make a single card a better option IMO. Good performance from your cards still.

To show 3D clocks click settings then hd 2900 overclocking and check "if card has 2d/3d clocks enable 3d clocks when starting ati tool"

that why i said nearly matched the 2900pro..

this was on beta drivers. in the final version maybe its add a few more fps...

and as for u saying at only Pro speeds, its a pro card.. im compairing 2 2600xt to a 2900pro speed..

Beta too with me so they may add more too!

Nice score though Gareth as they get close but are still a decent bit shy! Not like they aint running the game well tho! I may try a full day @ XT speeds and see how the card gets on! Im sure it will be fine though as I get more and more convinced its just another bios on an XT lol!

Gareth, can you please run MOH:A with only 1 of the cards turned on please? Had to lend my agp card out (6800le 375-400/875) to a friend to play it, and i'm just wondering how the 2600xt's deal with moh in general.

Hmmm I loaded mines up on ATiTool and just did so there and shows the following Core: 604.13 Mem: 783.00 so dont know how that is....could be 2d clocks possibly? I dunno! Try running 3dMark 06 and see how it goes!

From my experience Scougar pretty well

I went down to 1 2600XT before I went to this card and the game ran very well under the new beta drivers as well as Bioshock

Are you using vista or xp though i am on vista 32 bit, i downloaded the one you linked too and tried that

Im on XP, heard ATI tool can have problems with Vista, though there maybe some on here on it with no problems. :confused:

Just noticed ati tool is saying its a hd2000 overclocking might stick xp on and see, put vista on for dx10 side though does it actually make much difference in gaming dx10 over dx9.
