Got this today.. totally loving it.

Talk about a challenge, im finding it ROCK solid, even on rookie.

Anyone have any tips?

Just for reference, if anyone else gets this on Vista, it supports Xinput controllers (Xbox360) only.

Dont know of any tweeks to allow Dinput controllers as yet.

The only way you become good is learning the tracks when to brake and turn in etc.Brings back moto gp memory's online i was pretty good at it but you always get your experts that never make a single mistake.I heard this was a console port though and haven't bothered to check it out maybe i will.

Played this today and love it, graphics are excellent, works lovely with the 360 controller, it looks like a complete console port, and as good as the 360 version.

Can you use the wireless 360 controllers?

Its the best thing to use, ive found that almost all new games support the 360 controller and have been written for this, plays better with the controller then keyboard.

I got this yesterday for the 360 and I love it. It's what motogp 06 should have been, with the bugs ironed out.

I'll probably be checking this out as I thought URT 3 was excellent - great performance, visuals, tracks and feel. I also liked the way it wasn't too much of a sim, but also encouraged braking by giving a bit of feedback as to whether you were approaching a bend too fast.

Anyone know how to turn off the horrible screen tearing in this game, its ruining it for me.
I have tried vsync in the nvidia control panel but that hasnt fixed it.

Had a lot of fun with this, but still found it too easy on Legend difficulty (playing on keys lol) Few little tips might help if you are struggling on rookie:

Don't forget to do your bike setup in practice laps to get used to a track and a feel for the difference in setup, shorter wheelbase will speed up your 'turn in' but also make the bike more unstable and easier to wipe out while in a turn. Just below half was a nice figure for me iirc. With tyres I tended to go for a soft front and medium rear, or both soft. Suspension very hard on front and slightly less on rear. Gearing I went for the option were you can apply the ratio to all gears and moved slider one point down, just for slightly faster accelration. If you're not lazy like me though you can adjust each gear ratio for whatever track you're at. You can use your practice lap session to quickly learn the braking points (the white marker boards you sometimes see) and turn in points and what lines to take.

You dont want to be braking while going round a corner on a bike, best to do your braking in a straight line before turning into a corner, or brake right up to the point before the apex and then accelerate through the corner :)

The reason being (not sure if the game models real life) a bike won't turn very well with lots of weight on the front tyre, and when you are braking hard most of the weight is on the front tyre. Bikes tend to be happiest if you are accelerating through a corner, so more weight is on the back tyre. Rambling on here and maybe not making much sense but hope this helps :P

Yeah one of the things I loved about MotoGP URT 3 was that it actually makes braking enjoyable rather than a chore, far too many racing games have nasty braking systems.
