Is this considered strange or creepy? Or is it perfectly normal?

I'm a facebook n00b - I only joined facebook a few days ago, so I'm not really sure if I've done the right or wrong thing here.

Long story short: I was out on Sat and got chatting to some girl... We seemed to get on ok, but we had to leave as we had to leave in a hurry get to a club before 11 otherwise it gets rammed and it's 1 in 1 out. I tried to get her to join us but she is more into cheesy r'n'b rubbish at oceana compared to some dirty techno on a funktion one sound system in some sweatbox at the grimey end of Bristol I forgot to ask for her number also, which doesn't help things... she was pretty fit from what I remember tho (hopefully the cider visor wasn't in full effect).

Anyway, I've spent most of today recovering from last night (I didn't get home 'till midday today), and I came across her (at least I think it's her) profile on facebook. I went ahead and sent a message saying something like "was it you I was chatting to last night?". I just hope she doesn't think I'm some sort of stalker, or even worse it wasn't even her and I just messaged some random girl. Or I could be reading too much into it as I still haven't got my head together after last night. :/

I hope it's the right one - she looks similar in her photos, and her first name matches, so I got my fingers crossed. I wish I had a better memory tho, it seems a lot of last night was a blur due to a little bit of over-indulgence.

I've known a few people that met like that and got together, and it worked out really well for two of them.

She told me she was 23, even tho I did assume she was 19 as she did look young for her age. With any luck I may have something to contribute to the "post yer GF thread" soon.

I really need some sleep now - I think I must've had about 3 hours sleep in the past 48 hours - not good.

Always strikes me as a bit odd but I do know a few people who do this sort of thing, usually female though. I occasionally think about signing up to one of these sites and then wonder if I really need the extra potential for stalking in my life.
