New Creative X-Fi Drivers (vista)

Just tried these drivers, 192khz 24bit out and 96khz 24bit in now work pretty damm well in games, music and some video with only a small crackle during the start of a race in nfs as my only complaint :D
 
Can you try battlefield 2/2142 for us? As the current drivers a carp for them but if these fix all the problems I'll have them!

Will give 2142 a try when I get home tonight, been having problems with sound and that game too.

Gave it a quick try this morning, here's a list of games that I tried and worked without any problems.

Source engine games
nfs:mw
fear
oblivion
bioshock
crysis
aoe3
m:twII
and prey
 
Ok, tried 2142, at 192khz i had a few sound problems when there was an obital strike and when something blew up close, going down to 96khz solved it all, eax5 active and no sound problems at all :D
 
Just installed this latest driver for XFi Fatal1ty gamer, Vista 64/8GB. So far so good. Finally gotten rid of the random blowout of the sound capabilty where the sound would fail entirely and go to white noise requiring a reinstall of the drivers.
These drivers are stable so far and capable of surviving many restarts - no complaints at all.
