As title, new and sealed, made by evga, £90inc is this a good deal, i'm sure they go for more than that 2nd hand...

sounds like a good deal to me £90 is X1900XT/X1950XT price considering the 7950GX2 is a good deal faster than those it seems a fair price :).

Decided to order a couple, i can have a fiddle with one, and sell the others off for a tidy proffit. Top job!

Thats BS sorry.

I'd agree with that, there are 1 or 2 games where the gx2 performs pretty close to the 88gtx under specific settings, but in general, not a patch on the mighty 88gtx :)

Still, not bad for the best dx9 card pre 8 series release :D

Thats BS sorry.

They're about on par with an 8800GTS, not a bad deal if you ask me.

That's a total of frame rates from a load of games at various settings.

Wheres that taken from?

My 8800 GTS destroys the 7950 GX2 I had in Oblivion for example.

There is no way its was ever that close having owned one.

Tact Easy, tact. :)

It's actually closer to the 8800GTS in "best case" scenarios - that is a game with a good SLi profile. Worst case, you're looking around 7900GT speed.

It's excellent value for £90 though. :)

Agreed it is still close to 8800GTS if not being totally on par. You'll get top performance out of it and £90 for one is insanely good value.

Depends on the game. If its super SLI efficient then it will be with the 8800GTS.

Oblivion being the only game engine it sucks at from those benchmarks, the others it's about on par.

I'm not saying it's as good, it isn't. But at £90 it's a lot better value.

Benchmarks are from Toms, btw.

For 90 quid - amazing value. The card will run Bioshock for me at 1600x900 max detail @ 60fps+ constant.

Any newish games will perform pretty well, as for older stuff I've never had any problems at all it all runs super smooth.
