As i've been waiting for reviews to start appearing for the Samsung SM-245T (which is taking forever :() I stumbled across this review on Prad.de for the Eizo S2431W-GY:

http://www.prad.de/en/monitore/review/2007/review-eizo-s2431w.html#Introduction

I haven't had time to read through all of it but by all accounts it might be considered as an alternative to the Dell/BenQ/Samsung/etc. Albiet a more expensive alternative, it gets 5stars and rated as very good and with Eizo's reputation it may appeal.

Any thoughts?

I've got a couple of smaller Eizo monitors. They're amazing no doubt, but that one's £700, and I cannot see it being £300 better than the outgoing 24" Dell. And if you're spending 700, you might as well spend 820 for the 30" Dell. :D

Yeah, i'm in two minds between the 245T (reviews pending) and the NEC2690. A couple of weeks ago the NEC2690 was on 'This Week Only' for £700, i wish i just bit the bullet and bought it then - is that deal ever likely to be repeated Gibbo?
