TomTom Sucker

Did you know that Tom Tom have actually opted to use the same flower mount pictured above on their flagships models the Go 520 and 720. The above flower mount, if fitted correctly is capable of holding up 80Kgs of weight.

An alternative mount for your Tom Tom One V2 isn't available, your stuck (Pun!) with that one.

My uncle has the Go 520 and his comes with a flower twist mount

Id say so yes, can you not try yours in another car?

Yea suppose. Looking on ebay there are literally 100's of different types of mount available for my TomTom One but Im clueless as to which would work best, I don't really fancy using this one again as I'll be constantly worrying if it's going to come flying off again!

Take a look

The window is perfectly clean mate I gave it a clean the other day. TBH I'm not risking it again It's too much of a liability it seems

Forget suckers, Brodit are the best in the business for rock solid car holders.

Can be a bit pricy particularly the ones whoch charge too, but I got one for my phone and haven't gone back, worth checking eBay for a used one.

They come in 2 parts, one for the car and one for the device made specifically for the model of car and device.

Plus, Im also curious why you always seem to make daft comment's in my threads, any reason? :p

Here is another example..

Annoying little comment's which really don't help :)

I didn't even make the connection that it was you both times :)

It wasn't a daft comment in either thread, the last one you said "Check my new ICE install" which is a commonly used phrase for an actual install - sub, speakers, screen, carputer, whatever...but not just a headunit...

This time I just thought it was pretty funny that a satnav falling off your windscreen could case you to nearly crash twice. Mine's fallen off before and I didn't even give it a second glance...perhaps you've just got a nervous disposition :)

Well im glad someone shares my pain, its a ****** piece of ****!!!

Basically though if you wet your finger and wet the edge of the seal then put it on your windscreen it seems to work ok.

MANY time its fallen of my windscreen and given me a fright lol

Last time I checked ICE meant In Car Entertainment. The headunit being a part of that I felt it was appropriate to use that title. Not my fault you seem to be anally retentive and nit picking (can't please all) ;).

Ain't you just the hero ;). No when concentrating on other things like driving I don't need my TomTom come flying off my dash as I'm trying to concentrate on a busy road and various other things going on around me.

:o

lol - alright ;)

I have that one and it's stuck to my windscreen for a month now without coming off.

A collegue said the same thing that it fell off regularly on his car and that he got a replacement holder with a lever.
